This notice explains what information may be processed when you visit dttutty.com, why it is used, and the choices available to you. This is a personal academic website. It does not provide user accounts, accept payments, or intentionally collect sensitive personal information.
Information processed
Google Analytics
The home page uses Google Analytics to understand aggregate website traffic and how visitors use the site. Google Analytics may process information such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser details, and interaction data. Google may use cookies or similar technologies for this purpose.

Visit notifications
The home page also sends a limited visit notification to a site-operated endpoint at notify.dttutty.com. The notification contains:
- the path of the page visited; and
- the hostname of the referring page, when available.
To avoid repeated notifications, the browser stores a timestamp in local storage under dttutty-visit-notified-at. The site uses that timestamp only to limit notifications to no more than once every 30 minutes in the same browser. The endpoint and hosting providers may also receive standard network request information, such as an IP address, user-agent string, and request time, as part of normal server operation.
How the information is used
The information described above is used to measure site traffic, understand which pages bring visitors to the site, maintain reliability, and identify automated or abusive requests. It is not used to make decisions about visitors, and this site does not sell personal information.
Retention and sharing
Analytics information is retained according to the settings and policies of Google Analytics. Visit-notification and server-log information may be retained only as needed for traffic monitoring, security, troubleshooting, and operation of the site. Information may be processed by service providers that host or support the website and analytics service, or disclosed when required by law.
Your choices
You can block or delete cookies and local storage through your browser settings, use content-blocking or tracking-protection features, or install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Blocking these technologies does not prevent access to the site's main content.
